Kalaburagi epicentre of drug sale, alleges Ravikumar

Kalaburagi: Opposition Chief Whip in Legislative Council N Ravikumar has alleged that Kalaburagi has become a hub for sale of drugs. 

“Drugs sale is rampant in Kalyana Karnataka and Kalaburagi is the epicentre. Several aides of the district in-charge minister are involved in it. I suspect they are being protected from police action,” Ravikumar said.

He was speaking to reporters here on Thursday.  Ravikumar demanded resignation of district in-charge minister Priyank Kharge owning moral responsibility. 

He alleged that while police have closed their eyes, ministers have turned deaf to drug sale.
