Karnataka Bandh Updates | Bandh concludes after minor disruptions to daily life

Hello readers! Pro-Kannada organisations called for a Karnataka bandh on March 22 to protest the recent assault on a bus crew and the "brazen violence" by pro-Marathi activists. Bengaluru police detained over 50 protesters who were raising slogans and attempting to start a rally from Town Hall, located in the heart of the city. While the broader aim is to 'uphold Kannadiga pride'; autos, cabs and other modes of private transport were disrupted to a certain extent across the state.
