Karnataka gets Rs 5,096.72 cr as tax devolution from Centre

New Delhi: The Centre on Monday released Rs 5,096.72 crore as tax devolution to Karnataka.

It was decided that apart from regular release of devolution for June 2024, one additional instalment will be released, the Finance Ministry said. For all states, the Ministry of Finance has released Rs 1,39,750 crore in the current month.

This will enable state governments to accelerate development and capital spending,” it added.
