<p>Bengaluru: The Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) staged a protest at Freedom Park in Bengaluru on Thursday, demanding the implementation of the two-language policy in Karnataka. About 300 members took part in the protest.</p>.<p>"The central government has systematically imposed Hindi on our people ever since the Constitution was formed. It is time to undo the damage, and adopting the two-language policy will help in this,” said Arun Javgal, member of the association.</p>.<p>Association members also met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to submit a letter with their demands. These included making Kannada and English mandatory subjects and excluding Hindi as the third language from the curriculum across SSLC, CBSE and ICSE schools in the state.</p>
