Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti (MES) delegation of holding a meeting with legal experts and leaders of the pro-Maharashtra outfit in November first week on the measures to be taken by his state in the Supreme Court on the Karnataka-Maharashtra boundary dispute.

Delegation of MES held a meeting with Fadnavis outside the Sambra airport late night on Wednesday while he was returning to Mumbai from Kolhapur.

MES leaders Deepak Dalvi, Maloji Ashtekar and others complained regarding the alleged atrocities being meted out to the Marathi-speaking people in the district, and demanded that Maharashtra take necessary measures for expediting hearing of the case in the apex court. They also submitted a memorandum stating their demands.
