Minister reminisces student life

“Why do you fear me? We too used to sit on compound walls, like you, waiting for buses.”

Urban Development Minister Suresh Kumar spoke to schoolchildren during a visit to the Jakkalamadagu reservoir site on Monday.

At the Travellers' Bungalow, where he had tiffin, he found children sitting on a compound-wall and went to speak to them. Seeing him come, the children got down.


The minister spoke to the boys and asked them about their families and even what they felt about the schools in the district. He advised them to study well for the exams and get good marks.
