Nanavathi gets threat call

 A complaint has been lodged by Air India Express Station Manager Chellam Prasad at Urwa police station in this regard.

In her complaint, Chellam Prasad stated that Nanavathi’s office at Mumbai received a telephone call at his office threatening him with dire consequences including threat to his life if he failed to settle the compensation for air crash victims in a proper way. Following the threat call, Nanavathi has postponed his scheduled visit to Mangalore between October 12 and 15, to settle compensation for Air India Express IX 812 crash victims, the complaint added.It may be recalled that a few relatives of air crash victims were unhappy with the compensation given by Air India.
