Never seen such a corrupt govt in 75 years: Former Karnataka CM Sadananda Gowda criticises Congress over anniversary celebrations

Madikeri: BJP leader D V Sadananda Gowda alleged that the government has insulted people by celebrating the second anniversary of the government while there was huge damage due to rains in Bengaluru.

He spoke to reporters at Basavanahalli in Kushalnagar on Thursday.

"The current Congress-led government is looting people. Bengaluru alone contributes 67 per cent of revenue to the state. However, sufficient funds are utilised for the development of Bengaluru by the state. The earlier BJP government used funds every year," he said.

"I have not seen such a corrupt government in the last 75 years", he added.

He further stated that the name of the Home Minister is added to the list of those involved in scams, along with that of the Chief Minister and Deputy CM. It seems that he has become involved due to the company of the wrong people. This is a scam government, he said.

The Enforcement Directorate is an autonomous organisation and is working on its own. Allegations against ED are baseless, D V Sadananda Gowda added.
