Patil is Keonics chairman

IT&BT Minister S R Patil has been appointed Chairman of Keonics, a State government undertaking.

An order to this effect was issued on September 12. The post was vacant since the resignation of Sachidananda Murthy, who was an appointee by the previous BJP government.
