The contractors lost around Rs 2.88 lakh.<br /><br />The police said contractor C P Uttappa lost Rs 35,000, Prakash Gowda Rs 3,000, Venkatesh Rs 5,500, Shayam Sundar Bhat Rs 1.1 lakh, Sathish Kumar B S Rs 85,000 and Veeresh Rs 50,000.<br /><br />The High Grounds police have registered a case and are on the lookout for notorious pickpockets.</p>
