'Provide facilities at polling booths'

Mysuru Divisional Commissioner T K Anil Kumar has directed the officials to provide basic facilities at polling booths.

Speaking during a video conference with the deputy commissioners of Chikkamagaluru, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, he said that the polling booths should be provided with ramp, drinking water, toilet and first aid facilities.

The road leading to the polling booths in the Malnad area should be repaired. Vehicles should be arranged to transport physically challenged people to the poll booths. Women employees should be deployed at Sakhi polling booths, he directed.
