Safari to re-open at BBP

The Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP) will re-open the herbivore safari to public from December 7.

The safari had been closed in September following the outbreak of the foot and mouth disease.

Over 28 herbivores, including two gaurs, eight nilgais, spotted deer and blackbucks in the park died due to the disease.

Many animals are still suffering from the after effects of the foot and mouth disease in the park.
