Sheshappa elected as APMC chief

Sheshappa from BJP and B V Sathish from Congress had submitted the nomination for the post of the President. As Sathish withdrew his nomination, Sheshappa from Haradur constituency was declared as the winner.

As there was only one nomination for the post of Vice-president, the lone candidate Raghu was elected for the post.

Speaking after being elected as the President Sheshappa assured the farmers of improving the agriculture market in their favour.

Tahsildar A Devaraj was the election officer.
