<p>Office-bearers of the Sorab taluk unit of the Congress have resigned en masse in support of their leader Kumar Bangarappa’s decision to quit the party.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Speaking to mediapersons at the party office on Thursday, district Congress general secretary Tabali Bangarappa said Kumar Bangarappa had decided to join BJP after quitting the Congress. A majority of the taluk leaders and workers have expressed support for Kumar’s decision. He said the Congress had sidelined Kumar since 2004 without giving him any position. <br /><br /></p>
