<p>Three persons, including a woman, died in separate house collapse incidents in the two districts on Wednesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Harish, 24, an engineer with Ashok Leyland and Sujatha, 34, were buried alive when the roof of a house at Kolar Gold Fields came crashing down.<br /><br />The house belongs to Narayanamurthy, a contractor. Harish is the nephew of Narayanamurthy, while Sujatha is his brother’s wife.<br /><br />Avinash and Pushpalatha, who sustained injuries, have been admitted to the government hospital.<br /><br />A total of 11 members of an undivided family resided in the house.<br /><br />While cooking gas leakage is suspected to have triggered the roof collapse, the exact cause is yet to be ascertained, police said.<br /><br />In another incident, a man was killed on the spot while another sustained grievous injuries when the wall of a house collapsed at S Devaganahalli of Shidlaghatta taluk in Chikkaballapur district. <br /><br />The dead has been identified as Narasimhappa, 35, a resident of Galachintapalli near Dibburahalli. Manjunath, 38, of S Devaganahalli has been shifted to a hospital in Bangalore with grievous injuries.<br /><br />Narasimhappa, a coolie, had interest in theatre and was discussing about a play, scheduled to be staged on Thursday, with other artistes when the wall of his dilapidated house came crashing down. <br /><br />He was buried alive under the debris, police said.</p>
