The Railways cancelled train services between Sawai Madhopur and Bayana Junction section of Kota division of West Central Railway due to protests by Gujjar community members.

The Ajmer-Ernakulam Marusagar Express (12978) scheduled to leave Ajmer on Friday and Ernakulam-Ajmer Marusagar Express Train (12977) scheduled to depart from Ernakulam on February 17 were cancelled. To facilitate the non-interlocking work for the commissioning of automatic signalling between Bengaluru Cantonment and Whitefield stations over Bengaluru Division in South Western Railway, the train services were cancelled. The cancelled trains include Yeswanthpur Junction - Mangaluru Central Weekly Express (16565).

The service of Mangaluru Central-Yeswanthpur Junction Weekly Express Train (16566) will be fully cancelled on February 18.
