Water-level in Linganamakki reservoir has gone up by two feet owing to incessant rains in the district over the last four days. The level stood at 1813.10 feet on Friday, 5.5 feet short of the maximum level. Reservoir authorities said the water may fill to the brim within Sept 15 if the present rainfall continued.

Water-level in Bhadra reservoir has reached the maximum and water was released through four crest gates on Thursday.
