<p>Thiruvananthapuram: Interventions of many including Grand Mufti of India and All India Sunni Jamiyyathul Ulama general secretary Kanthapuram A P Aboobacker Musaliyar, Yemen-based Malayali social worker Samuel Jerome Bhaskaran and Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar were learnt to have helped in bringing the relief just a day ahead of the execution scheduled for July 16.</p><p>Priya, 37, hailing from Palakkad district, is facing death row on charges of murdering Talal Abdu Mahdi, who was her business partner, in 2017. </p><p>She is now jailed at Yemen's capital Sana'a, which is under the control of Houthis. They briefed him about the attempts Oommen Chandy made even while he was unwell for the release of Priya.
