Diabetic man soils his pants at Bryan Adams concert; slams Zomato CEO, organisers over washroom shortage

Amid the strom of concerts in the country lately, an incident has come to light wherein a diabetes patient with incontinence issues soiled his pants due to unavailability of washrooms at a Bryan Adams concert venue.

The Bryan Adams India tour was promoted by Zomato and managed by EVA Global Events. The event was held on December 13 in Mumbai.

Having to face such an embarrassing situation, the man, named Sheldon Aranjo, penned an open letter on LinkedIn to Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, along with the head of the EVA Global Events.

Sharing the image of his soiled pants, Aranjo wrote, “I PAID to PEE (in my pants) at the Bryan Adams concert.”

Further in his post he mentioned that the venue had the provision of only three toilets for over 1,000 attendees, resulting in him not being able to find an empty washroom and relieve himself.

He wrote, “I am NOT ashamed to say that I am a diabetic with continence issues. You guys should be ashamed for providing ~3 loos / 1000 people.”

Further sharing details about his unpleasant experience, he said, “I knew I would NEVER be able to hold that long. So I was advised to go to the other end of the pavilion!”

He apparently could not access the washroom allocated for the “other category” at the other end of the pavilion, as he only had a Gold category ticket.

Having no choice, he eventually found a nearby tree to relieve himself, however in the process of finding it and dodging the security guards, he ended up soiling his pants.

He wrote, “Finally, I managed to empty and ‘release’ the pressure (but not before soiling my pants!) - pls see pic as proof.”

Owing to his terrible experience at the concert and urging the organisers for better management in future, Sheldon Aranjo wrote, “Please get your sh%t together before bringing down international artists and charging us money to be treated to your learning curve. It seems, you guys are in a hurry to launch event companies and flip them. (sic)”
