<p>Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J) is facing a leadership crisis with different office bearers of the party resigning one after the other.</p>.<p>The list includes core member and founding members who helped to build the party.</p>.<p>Many have returned to the Congress' fold. </p>.<p>According to sources, JCC(J) national treasurer and former Congress mayor Gajraj Pagaria has tendered his resignation.</p>.<p>This comes after Pagaria was reportedly assaulted physically in the premises of official residence of Ajit Jogi on Friday.</p>.<p>After the incident, Pagaria and one Vijay Nijwan, filed a counter complaint against each other in Civil Lines, police station.</p>.<p>Pagaria in his resignation letter said that he is pained by the Friday's incident, where a lower-ranked party worker had misbehaved with him.</p>.<p>Vidhan Mishra, JCC (J) leader and election campaign incharge, confirmed that Pagaria has put down his papers.</p>.<p>He denied the news of his resignation being spread through social media.</p>.<p>The other day, party core committee member and a two time MLA from Manendragarh, Gulab Singh left the party.</p>.<p>Gulab Singh re-joined the Congress by taking the party's primary membership in presence Rahul Gandhi during his visit to Koriya district, on Friday.</p>.<p>Jogi had declared him as the candidate for Bharatpur-Sonhat Assembly constituency.</p>.<p>Gulab Singh as a founder member had built the organisation in the Koriya district.</p>.<p>Him shifting to Congress before the polling scheduled on November 20, will give an edge to the party.</p>
