Peeved doctor walks out of Kalam's convoy

Police said the incident occurred towards the end of Kalam’s engagements in the city on Friday. The doctor, part of a three-member medical team, walked out of the convoy stationed at Raj Bhavan at 3 pm.

Kalam, who attended four functions in the city, proceeded to the old Legislature Hall for a meeting and then to the airport without a doctor in the convoy. However, the staff nurse and a nursing assistant accompanied him.
