Multi-lingual actor Prakash Raj on Friday came out in support of actor Kamal Haasan's remarks on "Hindu extremists".

"If instilling fear in the name of religion...culture...morality is not terrorising...then what is it. Just asking," tweeted Prakash Raj.

In his post titled "To whomsoever it may concern", Prakash Raj said "If abusing and manhandling young couples on the streets of my country in the name of morality is not terrorising... If taking the law into hands and lynching people on slightest doubt of cow slaughter is not terrorising...If trolling with abuse, threat...to silence even a slightest voice of dissent is not terrorising...Then what is terrorising... Just asking."

In a Tamil news magazine, Kamal Haasan had written, "The right wing cannot challenge talk of Hindu terrorists because terror has spread into their camp as well."

Prakash Raj had criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month for being silent on journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh’s murder and called him a ‘good actor.’
