A pre-recorded message by late Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat was played at 'Swarnim Vijay Parv' event which was inaugurated at India Gate, on December 12.
Late General Rawat recorded the message on December 7, a day before the IAF chopper crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu.
IAF Mi-17V5 helicopter crash claimed the lives of CDS General Rawat, his wife and 11 other personnel on December 8.
