<p>A Bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan refused to interfere in the order of the High Court which had directed the Tamil Nadu government to pay adequate compensation to the farmer.<br /><br />Vishnu Ram Saravanavel, the farmer in a petition challenging the HC order, said he should be given alternate land or the elephant corridor should be shifted from his village.</p>
