Soon, helmet must for pillion rider in Kerala

Helmets will be made mandatory for pillion riders soon in Kerala with the Kerala High Court on Tuesday issuing a directive in this regard.

The Kerala government informed the court that circular making helmets mandatory for pillion riders would be issued soon.

Though the Centre had earlier made helmets mandatory for pillion riders, Kerala had made an exemption. This was scrapped by the high court.
