<p>Lucknow: In what is being claimed to be the first in the world, titanium, which is a strong, lightweight, and anti-corrosion transition metal, will be used for structural strength of the under construction Ram Temple at Ayodhya.</p><p>Ram Temple Construction Committee president Nripendra Mishra said that the Ram Temple will become the first temple in the world in which a strong metal like titanium will be used for structural strength.</p>.Over 5.5 crore devotees visited Ayodhya's Ram Temple since consecration: UP govt.<p>He said that 32 grilles, made of titanium, would be installed in the Temple. "One such grill was installed as part of an experiment on Saturday," he added. Shree Ramjanmabhoomi Kshetra Teerth Trust has approved the use of the metal.</p><p>He said that titanium has a life span of over 1,000 years. Titanium grilles would be installed on all the three floors of the Ram Temple. "The task of installing the grilles will be complete by August 15," Mishra said.</p><p>Titanium is widely used in aerospace, medical implants and chemical processing owing to its unique qualities. It is a very strong metal for its weight and is a popular choice for applications requiring a high strength to weight ratio.</p><p>Use of titanium would give the much needed strength to the structure of the Ram Temple, he said.</p><p>Mishra said that ‘Ram Katha’ (the story of Lord Rama) was being inscribed on the lower plinth in the Temple. ‘’The murals of Ram Katha have already been inscribed...they will contain the entire story of Lord Rama from his birth to his crowning...his ideals will be displayed through different stories,’’ he added.</p><p>Murals displaying the history of Ayodhya will also be inscribed in the Temple. </p>
