<p>Sonal Raghuvanshi, who allegedly hired contract killers to murder her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, whose body was found in a gorge in Meghalaya, claimed that he was killed while trying to confront some robbers, who tried to loot her jewellery.</p><p>Sonam was found in a distressed state at a dhaba (roadside eatery) in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur district late on Sunday night and was detained by the police.</p><p>The dhaba owner Sahil Yadav said that Sonam came to his dhaba around one in the night in a distressed state. ‘’She asked for my cell phone saying that she wanted to speak to her family members... she spoke to her brother, who asked me to approach the cops,’’ Sahil said.</p><p>A little later a police team arrived at the dhaba and took Sonam to a hospital from where she was taken to One Stop Centre and kept in the custody of women cops, sources said.</p><p>The Meghalaya police however said that Sonam had hired contract killers to get her husband murdered. Four accused, including Sonam, were arrested in this connection, they said.</p>.Indore man killed in Meghalaya: Wife 'hired killers'; 3 hitmen caught.<p>A senior police official in Ghazipur said that Sonam was found in a distressed state at a dhaba near Ankushpur in the district around midnight. ‘’Sonam is not in a state of making any statement,’’ the official said.</p><p>The police said that they were in contact with the Meghalaya police and that a team from there was likely to reach Ghazipur to take custody of Sonam.</p><p>Meghalaya police said that they had cracked the case and claimed that Sonam had orchestrated the murder of her husband through hired killers.</p><p>Raja’s body was recovered from a gorge in the East Khasi Hill district on June 2 while Sonam was missing. The couple, who hailed from Indore in MP, had married on May 11 and gone to Shillong for their honeymoon.</p>
