<p>In a horrifying incident, a woman attendant at a daycare in Noida physically assaulted a 15-month-old girl, CCTV footages showed. </p><p>As per a <a href="https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/paras-tierea-on-cctv-noida-daycare-attendant-hits-15-month-old-drops-her-intentionally-9059739?pfrom=home-ndtv_topscroll">report </a>by <em>NDTV</em>, the incident happened in Paras Tierea residential complex in Noida's Sector 137. Upon visiting a doctor, they were told that the marks were caused by bites. </p><p>The day care is run by the residents' association, and the attendant who assaulted the baby is said to be a minor and has been arrested by the police. </p><p>The parents have filed a complained against the daycare and its owner Charu. The parents claimed that the owner did not intervene while the baby was being assaulted, and also said when they confronted them about it, they were "threatened and verbally abused". </p>.<p>The toddler's father Sandeep told the publication that they started sending their child to the daycare in May and paid Rs 2,500 for two hours. He added that another family had similar complaints against the daycare and they will also be filing a police complaint.</p><p>The family was told there were three teachers who would handle their child, however, they never knew an attendant was handling her.</p><p>"The authorities must ensure that they hire (mature) people who have the patience to take care of infants," Sandeep told the publication.</p><p>A probe is under way in this matter and the police said would check the licence of the daycare.</p>
