Vinod Kambli assault singer’s father

Former cricketer Vinod Kambli reportedly manhandled Raj Kumar Tiwari (59), father of singer Ankit Tiwari, in a Mumbai mall on Sunday.

Raj Kumar had reportedly misbehaved with Andrea Hewitt, Kambli's wife.

The incident has been caught in the CCTV camera of the InOrbit Mall at Malad.

“The man touched and brushed inappropriately,” Andrea said. “How anyone would tolerate such a thing,” asked Kambli.

The matter has been reported to Bangur nagar police station at the Goregaon suburbs of Mumbai.

"We would not take it lying down. The allegations are baseless," Raj Kumar said and even threatened to file a defamation suit against Kambli and his wife.

In May 2014, Ankit Tiwari's ex-girlfriend accused him of rape and also accused his brother Ankur Tiwari of threatening her.

In April 2017, both the brothers were acquitted of all charges by the Mumbai Sessions Court.
