It’s common to change syndicate members: GTD

Higher education minister G T Devegowda Wednesday said that it is a common practice to change syndicate members in universities whenever a new government comes to power.

Recently, the government had withdrawn the appointment of syndicate members in universities made during the previous Congress government led by Siddaramaiah.

Inaugurating the academic activities of Maharani Arts, Commerce and Management college in the city, Devegowda said the vacant syndicate posts will be filled shortly.
