Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) general secretary D Narasimha said VHP and Bajrang Dal will organise a public meeting ‘Janagraha’ at Gandhi Maidan in Madikeri on December 1 to demand an ordinance for building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Addressing media persons on Thursday, he said that Ram Mandir in Ayodhya could not be a reality so far due to the procrastinating attitude of the Central government.

“The government should pass an ordinance to build a magnificent temple at Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, valuing the sentiments of Hindu community,” he urged.

The Hindu outfits have been carrying out a nationwide movement to construct Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, he said.

Narasimha stated that a procession of tableaux will be taken out from Bannimantapa to Gandhi Maidan at 2.30 pm on December 1.

Sri Vajradehi Ashram Gurpur seer Rajashekharananda Swami will deliver the keynote address.
