RIP Arun Jaitley | Former Finance Minister cremated with state honours

Former finance minister Arun Jaitley, who was admitted to AIIMS's cardiology department following chest complications, passed away on Saturday at the age of 66. The mortal remains of former Union minister Arun Jaitley was taken to the Nigambodh Ghat from the BJP headquarters and the last rites performed by his son, with full State honours.

Arun Jaitley's son performs the last rites of cremation

The funeral pyre wasprepared for the former Union Minister and he was cremated by his son Rohan Jaitley.

Almost all of the BJP cadre are present at Nigambodh Ghat, along with veteran BJP leader LK Advani and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CMManish Sisodia, to support the family of the late BJP leader.

A heavy pyre lit since it is raining in Delhi.
