Maya takes jibe at Shivpal

BSP supremo Mayawati on Saturday virtually dubbed rebel Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and party president Akhilesh Yadav's uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav as a BJP proxy, who was propped by the saffron party to harm the SP-BSP alliance.

''BJP has been spending money on Shivpal... its money will go waste,'' Mayawati said at a joint presser with Akhilesh in Lucknow.

Akhilesh, who was also present there, simply looked on smiling indicating that their family feud had reached a point of no return.

Shivpal has formed a separate outfit after quitting the SP and has declared to contest all the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.
