The country spent Rs 22,72,84,837 alone for the conduct of elections while another Rs 7,03,56,127 was spent on revising electoral rolls.

In Karnataka, Rs 86,59,408 was spent for conducting elections while Rs 6,50,616 was spent on revising the voters' list.
