Go on a chocolate high

The dessert parlour is highly recommended for brownies and desserts

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, ‘Brownie Heaven’ is just the place for you. As the name suggests, it is indeed a heaven for the choco-lovers. It was a little hard to locate the dessert parlour; the sign put up came to the rescue. Since we visited on a weekday, it wasn’t that busy.

The place is simple - comfortable seats, a few posters, friendly staff; nothing amusing; but you are sure to be wowed by their brownies. We started off with two simple

brownies - keto and walnut. They both were fresh, soft, warm and tasted incredible; the walnut wins the match though.

On a chocolate high, we decided to try their specials from their ‘Our Creations’ menu. First up, the ‘Mocha Fudge Brownie’, a brownie with mocha cream, chocolate sauce, chocolate chips and ice cream. The chocolate and coffee mix is well-balanced; the tinge of the coffee flavour saves it from being too sweet.

‘Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich’, vanilla ice-cream wedged between two fresh brownies with a spread of chocolate sauce and sprinkles of chocolate shavings and chips, is the fast-moving special. The combination of ice-cream and brownie is a match made in heaven and will leave you gorging on it. But it surely cannot be finished by one person unless you are incredibly fond of desserts.

Some of the other specialities that caught our eye are the ‘Brownie Cheesecake’ and ‘Berry’d Nutella’. If you are someone who experiments with your desserts, then they have something for you too. The ‘MYO - Make Your Own Brownie’ with more than twenty kinds of brownies gives you choices of ice-cream, sauce and toppings. Also, try the ‘Chef’s Specials’, a menu of their unique takes on the classic brownie.

Another highlight of the menu is their list of ‘Brownie Shakes’. ‘Classic-oreo-filter coffee’ is worth a try. If you want more on your plate apart from brownies, you can ask for the nachos; beverages are also on the menu.

The plating is worth a special mention. The food is made to look more appetising with their beautiful presentation. Though a little hard on the pocket, the sweet treats will surely make up for it.

‘Brownie Heaven’ has two outlets. We visited the Indiranagar outlet in 18th Main Road, 100 Feet Road, HAL 2nd Stage. The other outlet is located in Splendid Plaza, 5th ‘A’ Block, 100 Feet Road, Koramangala 5th Block.
