The Butternut Co.

Their spread is made with almonds, hazelnuts, cocoa powder and coconut sugar. It has a crunchy texture. It has both a creamy and a crunchy variant. It’s gluten free and vegan. Reviews indicate that the spread is more on the nutty side.

Butters & More

They have over 24 varities of nut butters. Their chocolate spread is made with hazelnut butter dark cocoa and palm jaggery. It also has added vanila extract and pink salt for added flavour. Their butters can also be used to make vegan milk. Blend a spoon of the nut butter in a glass of water and blend in a mixer and you have instant chocolate milk.

9GRAMS

Their hazelnut butter is has unsweetned cocoa and coconut oil. While they have no added sugar, the brand uses honey which makes the product non-vegan. They are currently working on a vegan and keto-friendly version of the butter.

Jus Amazin

This spread is dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free. It has a blend of hazelnuts, almonds, cashews with raw cacao and raw sugar. Nuts make up 80 per cent of the product.

Coco Soul

Unlike the rest of the list, this is a coconut spread and probably the only one on the market. Made with coconut milk, coconut syrup and cocoa, it is vegan and has no added sugar. Reviews say that customers with a taste for coconut oil will like the product.
