Looking for a calm place to unwind and relax after a long day? Check out ‘Housefull’ vegetarian restaurant in Sheshadripuram if you are in the mood for some fun-filled dining.

As you enter the restaurant, you will notice a vintage scooter and Big B’s poster. Walk further in and you will find posters of famous people and historical events. Even the menu card has images of Bollywood
actors like Sridevi and Mithun Chakraborty to name a few.

As the name suggests, this place is ‘houseful’ most of the times. People travel all corners of the city to visit this place.

It’s not a big restaurant but the cosy ambience, with fancy cement lights on the ceiling, comfortable
cushioned chairs and the soft music will definitely brighten up anybody’s mood.

The place serves a mix of South Indian, North Indian, Italian, American and Asian cuisine with a contemporary touch.

That’s not all. There are a number of options for Jains as well.

Speaking of options, the cheese lovers among us are in for a treat here.

For starters, try their Cheesling Bhel. It’s made out of Parle’s Cheeslings. The cheese and bhel mixture forms a perfect combination. If combinations excite you, pair their Spaghetti Cheese Balls with Achari Paneer Tikka. The combination of cheesy and tangy flavours will leave your mouth watering.

Their Paneer Ghee roast tossed with Mangalorean Masala will make all the non-vegetarians fall in love with paneer. This is another starter you can opt for.

There is more to come. If you love your spices as much as we do, their Subzi Kohlapuri is just perfect for you. This tomato gravy is served with cocktail taaftan, making it a great start to the main course.

The Golgappa served here is accompanied by four different kinds of paani. These include coriander and chilli water, jaggery and tamarind water, cumin chaas water and the eternal favourite, buttermilk. Given that it’s a vegetarian restaurant, the idlis are a must try. The idlis are roasted and sprinkled with gun powder which might remind you of home.

Don’t stuff yourself as the mouth-watering desserts are yet to come. Even if you don’t have much of a sweet tooth, do try their Gulab Jamun Mousse. The desi Gulab Jamun is given an international twist by using chocolate mousse.

Their ‘Fresh Tender Coconut ice cream’ topped off with roasted almonds and ‘Bournvita coated Pista Kulfi’ are some of the other desserts you can opt for.

In beverages, try their ‘Ginger mint limca’ mocktail. The mint flavour mixed with ginger will pump up your energy. Plus, it’s tasty and healthy.

Housefull is located on the ground floor, 86, Shubhodaya, Railway Parallel Road, Kumara Park West.
