MP Joshi calls Rahul 'mad'

Last Updated 24 August 2018, 11:19 IST

Coming down heavily on Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for saying that unemployment in India can lead youth towards organisations like ISIS, Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi called him 'mad', and charged that Congress leaders are talking the language of Pakistan.

"Followers of a mad, immature and foolish leader are also like him, and therefore, KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao likened BJP and RSS with terrorist organisations, and he is also an unfit leader. Rahul Gandhi has no brain at all. They are giving statements that Pakistan wants. He is insulting the nation, by saying so at a foreign country, instead of unitedly strengthening our efforts to prove charges against Pakistan for supporting terrorism," Joshi told media persons here on Friday.

Tributes

Earlier, Joshi paid tributes to ashes of former prime minister Atal Bijari Vajpayee, which was taken in a procession, and which will be immersed in Malaprabha river at M K Hubballi in Belagavi district on Saturday. He also recalled the noble qualities of Vajpayee and his association with him.

"We are not politicising Vajpayee's death, and elections are not near. But, Congress sought votes in the name of the death of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. Due to its anti-Hindu and anti-majority stand, Congress would lose more seats in next Lok Sabha elections," he charged.

Shri Gurusiddha Rajayogindra Swamiji of Moorusaviramutt, MLC Pradeep Shettar, and BJP leaders were present.
