Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Ajay Singh shutned out

Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Ajay Singh has been replaced by Additional Chief Secretary Sunil Kujur, a 1986-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer in a sudden late on Wednesday night move by the newly-elected Congress government in Chhattisgarh.

Two more IAS officers have been given different charges with the change. This is the first time since the formation of the state that a tribal officer has been made the Chief Secretary.
According to the order Chief Secretary Ajay Singh (IAS 1983) has been made the Chairman of Revenue Board, Bilaspur.
He was presently holding the charge of commissioner agriculture. The charge has been given to K D P Rao, (IAS 1988) who has been shifted from chairman Revenue Board, Bilaspur. He has charge of a commissioner of agriculture and also the post of Additional Chief Secretary of agriculture and biotechnology.
Amitabh Jain (IAS 1989) additional Chief Secretary finance has been given additional charge of ACS Commerce and industries and public sector undertaking.

IPS changed

In another late night reshuffle of the IAS and IPS officials in Chhattisgarh, the Raipur and Durg range Inspector General of Police has been changed. Both the officers have been shifted to Police Headquarters.

As per the order issued by G P Singh Inspector General of Police, Durg has been shifted to Police Headquarters, Atal Nagar while Inspector General of Police Raipur Dipanshu Kabra has also been posted as IG Police Headquarters.

Special Secretary to home, jail and transport Anand Chabra has been posted as in charge Inspector General of Police Raipur and Deputy Inspector General of Police Dantewada Ratan Lal Dangi has been made the Inspector General of Police Durg.

Arun Dev Gautam, Additional Director General CID has been made Secretary to home, jail and transport.

S R P Kalluri Inspector General of Police Training PHQ has been shifted as Inspector General Economic Offence Wing and Anti Corruption Bureau.
