Congress to launch massive outreach on manifesto

Congress leaders will fan out across the country to publicise the party manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections.

Former Law Minister Kapil Sibal will be in Bengaluru, while former Commerce Minister Anand Sharma will be in Mumbai on Thursday to release the Congress manifesto at the respective state units of the party.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be in Pune, Chandrapur and Wardha in Maharashtra to address public rallies in which he is expected to speak on the party manifesto.

In Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Puducherry, respective Chief Ministers Kamal Nath, Bhupesh Baghel and V Narayanasamy have been tasked with the responsibility to take the party manifesto to the masses. In Rajasthan, Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot will undertake the public outreach.

AICC in-charges of states Rajni Patil (Himachal), Shaktisinh Gohil (Bihar), Rajeev Satav (Gujarat) will hold press conferences in the respective state capitals.

Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Badal will travel to Guwahati, while former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will be in Jammu to publicise the manifesto,

On Thursday, party leaders will release the Congress manifesto at 22 locations across the country. More such outreach programmes are being planned.
