Denying rift in the family of N T Rama Rao, the founder of Telugu Desam Party, NTR’s son and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna on Saturday said his brother in law Nara Chandrababu will be the chief minister if the party comes to power in 2014 even as he announced that he would enter active politics soon.

The Tollywood actor, who campaigned for TDP in 2009 elections, hinted that he would formally announce his entry into active politics in the next "Mahanadu,"  the annual conclave of the party.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function at the Indo-American Cancer Hospital here, Balaiah as he is fondly called, rubbished the speculations that there were differences between NTR’s offspring and Chandrababu Naidu.

"People will teach a lesson to those trying to create a rift in the family," he said answering a question on the recent suspension of NTR family loyalist and Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani and the attack on Junior NTR‘s office in Jubilee hills.

Balakrishnas’s comments assume significance in view of the recent events in the party where legislator Kodali Nani was suspended for “switching his loyalty’ to YSR Congress Party.
