A meeting of senior Gandhians transformed anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare and he showed inclinations of softening his stand towards his former associate turned Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal.

Kejriwal, who is also the Delhi chief minister, also reciprocated and, in less than 24 hours, met Anna twice. They reportedly discussed issues, including Jan Lokpal Bill of Delhi government.

The transformation came on Saturday when Anna attended a meeting of Gandhians from across the country where he delivered a speech. The meeting was presided over by noted Gandhian Narayan Bhai Desai.

Hazare placed before them his 17 points, which contain his vision for the change the country requires. The anti-graft crusader said he had sent his points to all the parties but only Mamata Banerjee sent a reply.

Senior AAP leader and spokesperson Anand Kumar immediately responded to his complaint and said that on behalf of his party, he  endorses all his points and also assured an official endorsement from the party.

Sources told Deccan Herald that later, when Arvind Kejriwal met Hazare at Maharashtra Sadan on Saturday, he explained his position on various issues.

On Sunday, Kejriwal visited him in the evening with his two associates: Minister Manish Sisodia and senior leader Sanjay Singh.
