Hero Ravi Teja skips brother Bharat's funeral, who died in accident

Bollywood “Mass Raja” B.Ravi Teja has refused to attend the funeral of his brother B Bharat Raja (45) who died in an accident owing to Bharat’s drug addiction and his rash behavior. Bharat who also acted in small roles in few tollywood movies has been arrested by the police several times for possession of Cocaine.

Bharat died in a road mishap near Kotwalguda on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Shamshabad on Saturday night when his Skoda car rammed into a stationary truck. He was alone in the sedan when the mishap occurred. He died on the spot. According to Airport Police the Sedan which was coming from the airport side was speeding at almost 140 kmph when the accident occurred and Bharat was allegedly in an inebriated condition when the accident occurred.

However Bharat’s friends who were present at the Osmania mortuary on Saturday night refused to divulge his family background and lied to police that he is from Rajasthan. Police had little help as the vehicle was registered in the name of his mother B Rajyalakshmi. It was only after few news channels started flashing his face soaked in blood, that Ravi Teja’s family realized that Bharat is no more.

The real drama unfolded on Sunday as none of the family members came to claim the body of Bharat at the mortuary. “We want to remain at our home at this hour of grief. I am recollecting all the wonderful memories that I had with my brother,” Ravi Teja said to have told to his close friends. With no one coming forward many of his friends mostly from Tollywood have organized the funeral at the Mahaprasthanam electric crematorium near Jubilee hills.

It is reported that a small time artist has performed the last rights at the crematorium for Rs 1500. It is also said that the junior artist agreed to do the last rights as he has to pay for school fee of his children and Monday was the last day.
