Aam Admi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that CBI director Alok Verma will soon lodge an FIR against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Rafale controversy.

While addressing a rally in Jaipur's Ramlila Maidan Kejriwal said Alok Verma was removed in connection to Rafale controversy. "He gave Modi Ji a sleepless night. The PM had to wake up at 2 am and remove the CBI chief," said Kejriwal.

He said that Verma is an honest officer and the prime minister couldn’t wait till the office of the CBI opened before the order. "If Modi is clean then why is he scared of investigation", Kejriwal questioned during his maiden rally in Jaipur ahead of the Rajasthan Assembly polls.

The AAP also released its manifesto for the upcoming Rajasthan elections. Kejriwal appealed to the public to change the tradition. Kejriwal told the supporters that like in Delhi, where the AAP government was voted to power in 2015 and urged the public to adopt a similar strategy in the Rajasthan Assembly elections.

Kejriwal also criticised Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and said, "This is not the prime minister’s crop insurance scheme, this is the ‘Bhajpa Dakait Yojana (BJP Dacoit Scheme) because money is being deducted from their accounts", said the Delhi chief minister.

Earlier, the AAP had announced a list of 68 candidates for Rajasthan's upcoming polls.
