JOIN USAllegedly kept ''starving'' for several days by her father and brother, a 15-year old girl committed suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Agra town, about 350 kilometres from here.
The girl was found hanging from the fan at her room in Prakash Nagar locality in the town on Sunday, according to police sources here.
The girl left a three-page suicide note, which mentioned in detail the circumstances that led her to kill herself.
The teen said in the note that she had been without food for the past three days. ''There is nothing in the house to cook...my father has not brought any thing...I am starving,'' she said in the suicide note.
The girl said that her father and the brother ate outside. ''My mother is mentally unstable...she may also die soon,'' she said.
She blamed her father and elder brother for her death. ''They (father and bro) want to kill me and my mother....I pray to the god not to give such a father and brother to any child,'' the teen wrote further.
The girl asked the police to ensure that her father and brother were punished for their deeds. ''My soul will not rest in peace until they are punished,'' she said.
Police sources said that the postmortem examination confirmed that the girl had been starving for several days.
Police said that a case was registered in this regard and the father, who worked as a tube well mechanic, and the brother, had been arrested on charges of abetting the suicide.
