Chhattisgarh’s veteran Congress leader Motilal Vora has been admitted to AIIMS New Delhi after he faced health problem on Saturday.

Party sources said that he was not keeping well since Friday night. On Saturday, he was admitted to hospital. The doctors said that his condition is stable.

Late evening his health started to deteriorate. Due to cold, cough and excess physical exertion, he had trouble in breathing. He is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and a team of doctors are monitoring his condition.

A Congress veteran, Vora served as treasurer of All India Congress Committee for long. Recently, citing health reasons, he quit the post of national treasurer. He was then given the charge of administration. Vora was also included as star campaigner for Chhattisgarh polls.
