AICC chief Rahul Gandhi, Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Aam Admi Party Chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will visit the state on Sunday. While Rahul will be campaigning for Congress in Vijayawada and Kalyandurg, Mamata and Kejriwal will participate in a public meeting here on Sunday afternoon.

TDP sources say that there may be a road show of AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu with the other two CMs prior to the election rally.
While Rahul and Naidu have shared dais during Telangana elections the AICC chief will be limiting his campaign only for Congress. After the debacle in Telangana, both the parties decided to contest separately in AP.

Rahul will address a public meeting at the Ajitsingh Nagar stadium in Vijayawada around 11.30 am and will leave for Bengaluru by a special flight, from where he will leave for Kalyandurg in Anantapur district. APCC Chief N Raghuveera Reddy is contesting from that constituency. The Congress party is expecting that their will unveil a road map to the Nyuntam Aay Yojana during the public meetings.

“Congress is the only party to promise the granting of special category status to the state. Rahul already said that his first signature will be on the SCS file if voted to power,” Raghuveeera Reddy told reporters.

State Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the visit of the two chief ministers to the coastal city will bolster the efforts to stitch national-level coalition of anti-BJP parties.

“Already Farooq Abdullah and Kejriwal visited the state in support of our Chief Minister. Today the city with a huge pan Indian population will witness the coalition in full force,” the senior TDP leader said.
