Named “Seegradarshan”  (quick darshan), the system will come into force at dawn at Vaikuntam Queue Complex on the hills from Wednesday, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthananams (TTD) public relations officer T Ravi said here on Monday.

Under this system, the Rs 300 per head tickets will be made available to devotees without interruption.

The new facility is in addition to the free darshan queue and the Rs 50 tickets queue, he said. As part of it, issue of Rs 200 Archana Ananthara Darshan  tickets, introduced a decade back for morning darshan has been dispensed with from Monday.

The Rs 100 tickets will also be cancelled from Wednesday, he said.

A TTD official said the number of tickets issued under the new darshan scheme is unlimited, which is made available for devotees round the clock.

Moreover, no advance reservation system has been made and people should purchase tickets only from the counters, he added.

The TTD administration, which runs the hill shrine that attracts lakhs of devotees from all over the country, hopes the new system will put a stop to cases of recommendation from influential quarters to provide speedy access for darshan.
