NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Monday claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given him an offer to "work together", which he refused. Pawar's statement came against the backdrop of the Shiv Sena dumping its ally BJP for rejecting its demand for rotational chief ministership and joining hands with the NCP and Congress to form a government in Maharashtra.
