JOIN USAdditional District and Sessions Judge N N Singh concluded the hearing after Soren's counsel Sanjay Singh completed his argument in the case. Singh also reserved the judgement till April 17.It was Soren's second appearance before the court after becoming the chief minister on December 30. He had last appeared on February 3.
Soren was made one of the accused in the double murder case which took place on April 15, 1974 over slaughtering of a goat by a group of persons at Kudko village under Pritand police station in Giridih district.
The FIR, which was filed by one Bahadur Singh, accused Soren of heading a group that allegedly killed Khirodar Singh and Chundi Singh following the slaughter of a goat while another person went missing.The charge-sheet was filed in 1978 and Soren is the sole accused now since eight others were acquitted in 1986.
